Hi,
I'm using WMQ 5.3 with WMQI 2.1. I'm trying to integrate SAP with other systems. The project involves data flow from SAP to other systems and from the other systems into SAP. I'm using standards IDOCs to achieve this.
When SAP creates an outbound IDOC with Japanese characters and sends it to MQ, the double byte characters in the IDOC gets garbled if the CCSID of the QM is set to 943. This CCSID has been set to enable to IBM supplied smqsi process to get messages with Japanese characters from MQ and post in SAP.
If the CCSID is set to 819 the Outbound IDOCs from SAP seems to be correct with both single byte and doubte byte japanese characters but the inbound IDOCs fail.
Can someone tell me the CCSID to be set for handling double byte Japanese characters for both inbound and outbound IDOCs. Or is there any other fix to solve this problem.
