Hey folks,
I was just curious to know if there were people who had used Oracle in a high-volume production environment with Workflow? I am interested in knowing if there is a difference/significant difference in performance when one database system is used over the other.
I have more experience with IBM's DB2 than Oracle, but would be interested in knowing this from a performance stand point?
IBM DB2 has it's runstat's for maintenance, and Oracle has a tunestat's. Just wondering that the Oracle experience has been like in regards to performance reasons.
Thanks,Praveen _________________ Praveen K. Chhangani,

Praveen:
I have used Oracle in the past, although NOT extensively. It performs quite well in that you really don't notice that much difference in performance.. I guess the only thing with going the oracle route is you have to be aware of support issues. Where in the past you only had to go to IBM for support, with oracle u might have to go to both. Performanc wise not difference in my op. Nathan _________________ Newbiedude |
