When you receive the following error message :
CSQJ160I +MQST CSQJOFF1 LONG-RUNNING UOW FOUND,
URID=0001E71B1AFA CONNECTION NAME=MQSTCHIN
Meaning :
CSQJ160I LONG- RUNNING UOW FOUND,
URID= urid CONNECTION NAME= name
Explanation: During active log offload, MQSeries encountered an uncommitted unit of recovery that now has records on the newly created archive log. The unit of recovery identifier urid together with the connection name name identify the associate thread.
System Action: Processing continues.
System Programmer Response: Consult with the application programmer to determine if there is a problem with the unit of recovery, and to ensure that the application commits work frequently enough. Uncommitted units of recovery can lead to difficulties later.
Having several applications running we found not very easy to identify which one was responsible. After it took more time until the application programmer made the necessary changes to commit more often.
The question is :
Is there a way to force the commit for this URID straightaway to reduce the risks of uncommitted URID until the application is changed/modified.
Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks

Hi,
I moved your post because it has nothing to do with Capitalware products.
But to answer your question, as far as I know, what you want to do is not possible.
Regards,
Roger Lacroix
