Hi all

We have mq 5.2 for OS390, and .net appls with mqclient 5.3 on NTbox

The appls connect to severconn channel on mainframe and disconnect many, many times on a day

The Channel Initiator SYSOUT display messages to start and stop channel

CSQX500I +P1 CSQXRESP Channel xxx started
CSQX501I +P1 CSQXRESP Channel xxx is no longer active

this massages also is displayed on de MVS Consol and it saturates the buffers or something like that (i'm not a system programer)


We want eliminate this messages for the specific manager on the mainframe

Somebody now how can i do this

Hi :

You can put CSQX500I & CSQX501I on MPF List, they don't show on the Console, but yes on SysLog.

But this supresse the messages for al manager´s

This option it´s applied for bypass proposal

If you have an automations package then it should be possible to suppress the messages for that particular CHIN. Otherwise you could have an MPF message exit written to do it just for that particular region(Yuck!)
