Experts,
I installed CSD06 (from CSD03 on a WMQ5.3 mq server in a Solaris 8 box).
I tried to start the same apps that worked with CSD03, but got some errors. After I backed out to CSD03 again (by pkgrm CSD06), the apps worked again.
I followed the limited installation instructions in both the README file of CSD06 and the Planning Book for Solaris. And selected "yes" at most of the prompts during the installation.
Did I do anything wrong? Or the apps need to be recompiled (didn't see any recommendation to recompile the apps after patch install).
Appreciate your help!

What errors did you get? What about FDCs - did you get any?

The error is either QMGR_NOT_AVAILABLE (2059) or CONNECTION_BROKEN (2009).
The apps tried to connect to the command server.
Also, I tried amqsbcg etc and didn't get any error.
FDC files were generated, as MQ error logs stated "Internal MQ errors" happened. The MQ processes in the FDC files include amqzlaa0_nd (Probe ID XC130003), amqrrmfa (Probe ID RM220005), and amqzxmao_nd (Probe ID ZX005018).
