Hi all,
We have a following situation ....
WMQI 2.1 is on mainframes
and we need to access a Oracle Database on Unix. Do anyone know how to access?
I think we need a DSN for the database to be accessed from WMQI. Any ideas will be great help.
Thanks |

Neo,
According to the WMQI 2.1 documentation (Administration Guide), Oracle is not a supported user database from the OS/390 platform. See Table 3 Supported databases for brokers and user data on page 29: http://publibfp.boulder.ibm.com/epubs/pdf/bipyag05.pdf
This appears to also be the case for v5.0 |

I am not using Oracle as Broker database...
I am just accessing the Oracle DB. My Broker Database is DB2... So my question is how can we specify the DataSourceName for the DB connection.
Let me correct if I am wrong...
Thanks |

See Table 3 Supported databases for brokers and user data on page 29:
This does include user data access from within the message flow. |
