I SWEAR I have searched the IBM manuals, the IBM site and this site, and I am still not sure of the answer to this question.
What is the maximize queue file size on Solaris in MQ 5.3? Is it 327M? Is it 2GB? None of the above?
Thank you. |

From the Quick Beginnings guide for Solaris
Quote: |
If you want to use individual queues that hold more than 2 GB of data, you must mount the file system with the largefiles option. |

Thank you. I looked through the multiplatform admin guide and the programming guides. I did not check quick beginnings. I appreciate your gracious response. |

Well, it's not really a response - as it doesn't tell you what the actual limit is. It merely says that, if you want, it can be more that 2GB.
Generally, I have found that the Quick Beginnings guides have information in them that is not available anywhere else. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
