One of our developers got the following error when trying to connect to the default qmgr:

"An unhandled exception of type 'System.DllNotFoundException' occurred in amqmdnet.dll

Additional information: Unable to load DLL (mqic32.dll)"

This error occurred on his Windows XP box trying to connect to W2K Server box.

Any ideas?

I think you are trying to do client bindings on a machine which did not have the client libraries installed. Dont set any of the MQEnvironment hostname etc properties if you want a client connection, or install the MQ Client if you want to do a client connection.
