I have been trying to setup the MQSeries/SSL configuration, according to the document in repository on MQ and SSL.
Eeverything went fine, until I've configured the SSL properties of the MQ channels. The message security on the sender and receiver channels (QM1.QM2 and QM2.QM1), are set to 'TRIPLE_DES_SHA_US'.
For the receiver channels the 'always auth parties...' option is checked.
When I do perform a start of sender channel QM2.QM1, I do get following error in the log for QM2:
AMQ9207: The data received from host 'nl-amv-l061550 (10.16.78.108)' is not
valid.
In the log for QM1 I do get following error:
AMQ9690: The public key in the issuer's certificate has failed to validate the
subject certificate.
Can someone explain why this may happen?
Also I would like to know where the generated FFST file (mentioned in the QM2 error) is located.
Thanks

Gunther,
Thanks for your comments. I think I've messed up with the certificates previously. I did the excercise once again, and everything is working fine now...up to the testing part (step 9).
For usage of the port sniffer, I have put the sps.bat and the sps.jar files in my root dir C:\.
When I start the port sniffer, I do get following :
C:\>sps localhost 1818 1819
'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Can you tell what Iam doing wrong, or what Iam missing ?

you don't have your PATH environment variable set correctly to tell the system where to find your Java runtime.
Either adjust that, or use the full path to the java executable. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
