Hi,
I applied the interim fixes after appling CSD6 on NT, MQ version 5.3. The listener is still not starting up after stopping the IBM MQ services and restarting them. Should the interim fixes have resolved this?
If the listener wasn't running before the upgrade then there is a good chance that it won't after the fix pack either if there is something incorrectly defined in the listener itself.
If it helps any I have taken MQ from 5.2 for 5.3 through to CSD6 (and up to CSD8) without any problem with my listener.
I have no experience with any problems with listeners not starting at CSD6.
The problem introduced in fp6 is that saving of a new service doesnt write all the registry keys. Hence the start fails (with command line error!) because for example -t tcp -p 1414 is missing
The fix resolves the problem BUT you need to go in and change the properties of the listener - reenter the port and select tcp.
