All,

This is a goofy question, (well 2), that I have but here it goes anyways.

1) Is there any real/major differences between MQ 5.3 and MQ 5.3.1?

2) Is the FMID (MVS) different between 5.3 & 5.3.1 - I'm trying to figure out what version we have on the mainframe. The FMID is HMS5300

Offshore,

The easiest way to find out is to run a CSQUTIL and do a DIS QMGR ALL and check the CMDLEVEL. CMDLEVEL(531) is 5.3.1
