We have multiple instances for our workflow environment - Application Development (FMCDEV), Systems Integration (FMCINT), Customer Acceptance Testing (FMCCAT), Training and Demo (FMCTAD), and Production (FMCPRA). Can I move staff from one instance to another and keep the passwords the same? For example, when I export from FMCDEV and edit the PERSON FDL entries from FMCDEVGR to FMCINTGR and import into FMCINT, my passwords no longer work.
How do others get staff into multiple runtime databases without the PERSON passwords changing?

I am not sure that this can be done, as I think I have seen someplace that the encryption is based on the SYSTEM and SYSTEMGROUP. I would check with IBM on this if I were you. Try posting to the newsgroup
