Writing a new C program to connect and send messages to a queue manager on another machine (we only have the client installed). After some problems, the process is finally past the MQCONN but now it hangs when I get to MQOPEN. All of the parameters appear to be correct (based upon the C sample provided when MQ was installed). Even after several minutes, no error is returned. It just hangs - apparently indefinately. |

Have you gotten the amqsputc sample to work? I'd start with it. You can set the MQSERVER environment variable and try running it. |

Yes, the sample program works, which is making it more frustrating. I've added printf statments to my new process and the variables appear to be set the same as in the sample. |

Ok, then post your code. Wrap your C code with the BBCodes of
...
. That way it will be easier to read.
