Hi All,
in an other topic we figured out, that the WMQ explorer (mmc snap-in) is not useable with the SSL authentication. Then how should I defend my QMs aganinst the unauthorized acces? If someone knows the username (username that is in the mqm group on the WMQ server machine) he or she can connect to the QM and missconfigure os destroy it. What are the best Practises?
Regards,
János |

I think a good way to do this is to enable a security exit on the server connection channel for your queue managers, and then configure MQExplorer to use that exit. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

If you use BlockIP2, You don't need to tell MQExplorer about it, BlockIP2 just investigates the connection properties and decides if it's a Miss GoodGirl or Mr. BlackHat....
