In WBIMB->Message Broker Toolkit ->Flow Debug Perspective, when I try to attach any Flow Engine from my 'localhost'. I have installed agent controller already before installing WBIMB.
The error message is
IWAT0016E : Agent Controller is not installed on this machine.
Make Sure that:
* Agent Controller is installed.
* Agent Controller is configured to communicate with your machine.you have correct hostname and port number for the Agent Controller.

I have installed all softwares using a userid (with admin rights of course!!) ; but running it with another admin id. What should I do to configure the Agent Controller??

Make sure the Agent Controller is installed from the supplemental CD.

then ensure it is started. Also the broker need to be started to be able to be attached.

On the other hand, since this error said you have not installed it, you need to verify your Agent Controller installation.

Was it installed correctly? Did the folder - IBM Agent Controller.. blah blah.. got created. There is supposed to be a log.. I can't remember where, though.
Was it installed from another source? i.e., WSAD CD.

Hi,
I had verified the installation. And its true that I had installed it from WSAD CD. But now I will install it from Supplement CD. What's the difference between these two Agent Controllers?

Compatibilty.
Depending on what version of WSAD you are using. The thing to look for is that the WBIMB AC was built with JDK 1.3. And the version in the supplement CD is 5.0.1. If you installed from WSAD - maybe version 5.1.0. on JDK 1.4.

Hope it solves your problem.

I'm worried because the error message you got is saying you have not installed it.
