Hi
I have a approval scenario where a user outside of workflow starts a process instance. It shall have the history of the whole request, and he should be able to track where his request is sitting. After the completion of the approval business process, the user should be notified about the result of his request saying whether it has been approved or not. The client do not want to implement it through email messaging. . Whenever the user logs into the application, he should be able to see the list of his messages on the screen. Since the user is outside of workflow, i m in a dilemma on how to implement this type of functionality.
thanks in advance |

Have your activities write some status messages to some location (DB). When your user logs in (to whatever system), display those messages. _________________ -Ratan |

You could easily get the completions by using a proper Audit to MQ with a filter of the instance complete, then as Ratan suggest put to some external DB _________________ John McDonald
