We just migrated from AIX 4.3.3 to AIX v5.1. I have checked that the following file systems are available.
/var/mqm
/var/mqm/log
When I try to start the qmqgr with the following command -
strmqm QMGR1
it comes back with Logs not available error.
I have checked that the active directory is under /var/mqm/log/QMG1/active has all 10 logs available.
Not sure why I am getting this error.
Please help!
I was able to overcome this problem with IBMs help! I had to perform a cold start on the queue managers. The header file for the active logs got corrupted.
