Dear Friends,
I have a problem with getting an MQ client running on a Solaris5.8
box, talking to an MQ server on a Win2K box. I have been given
the following advice from a previous post :
1. Export an environment variable on the Solaris box. So I did this :
setenv MQSERVER 'SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN/TCP/192.168.10.246(1414)'
2. Ensure a listener is running on the MQ server box. I checked
and have a listener which is running and listening on port 1414.
3. Link with client libaries instead of server libraries. I am currently
linking with the following libraries :
libmqmzse.so
libmqmcs.so
libmqm.so
Specifically, which libraries should I link with instead of these ? I
am not too sure....
I am, as always, grateful for any help which is extended.
regards, Asad. |

There are chapters in the Application Programming Guide that give libraries to use when using server vs. client. |
