i installed all the prerequisite software and broker on AIX.
i would like to have broker database on AIX and configuration manager on windows. what all the steps involved in configuration of broker on AIX? do we need an explicit ODBC connection on AIX?

I would appreciate if somebody can give me a pointer to where i can find this info..?

also abt user groups like mqbrkrs, mqbrops, mqbrasgn etc., Do we need to explicitly create all these user groups on AIX?

Try reading the AIX Installation manual. It walks you through this.
