Hi There,
could someone tell me how to adjust the maximum number of connections the MQ server can accept? BTW, how can you find out the maximum number of the connection on Solaris?
Thanks,

Thanks a lot for swift response. I have looked at the document. I found the followings:
MaxChannels: maximum channels defined in the qmgr
MaxActiveChannels: maximum channels in active state
ListenerBacklog: maximum TCP connection requests in the kernel's TCP buffer.
These are quite helpful. However, what I really want to know is what is the limit of the client connections to a qmgr. On a single SVRCON channel, you can have multiple client connections. Is there any limit on client connections? If there is, how can I look at and change that?
Thanks,

There are maximums ... I would read the capacity planning support pacs. For many systems it is on the order of 800+ and on z/OS it is in the thousands. |
