I want to know the type of the queue(local normal, local transmission or rem def queue), i have to put my message on the client side of the java JMS application.

I tried putting it on the rem def queue in which case i got the error
2045:MQRC_OPTION_NOT_VALID_FOR_TYPE .

I tried putting it on the transmission queue in which case i got the error
MQFB_XMIT_Q_MSG_ERROR, with my message written back onto source dead letter queue.

what might me the possible error?

You are specifiying an invalid combination of MQPMO (Put message options).

It is correct to put a message to a Remote Queue Definition.

What options are you specifying on the put - show us the code, please.
