I'm currently using Control Centre (Win2k) CSD03, and the broker (OS/390) was also on the same CSD level.
Recently, the broker has been updated with CSD05, so I am applying the same CSD update to my Control Centre. Question is... Do I need to delete and recreate my configuration manager? And do I need to delete and recreate the broker?
Also, I've noted that CSD06 is available, however, only for Win2k, and not OS/390. Can I apply CSD06 on my Control Centre and my configuration manager, while my broker which is on OS/390 remains on CSD05? Will there be any problems?
Thanks! |

Hi,
if you are already on CSD03 level, and performed CM migration on CSD03 ( i.e. deleted/re-created CM after CSD03 installation ), you do not need it again. You do not need to recreate the broker on z/OS.
I have no problems using CM/CC at CSD06 level on Windows with CSD05 broker on z/OS. |
