Hi,

When installing the XML transformation node I am only being given the option of selecting the broker components to install, not any of the control center files. After installation I can see the jt400.jar is installed but none of the xml/xsl or .wdp files.

I'm running MQ5.3 csd05, WMQI2.1 csd03 on WinXP.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Pete

No, can't see any change in the Control Center.

Have tried uninstalling the broker and then running the XML node install, this results in no component options being available to install.

You Do One thing ,Keep your control center running and install XML Transformation Node .you should see the files ComIbmXslMqsi,ComIbmXslMqsi.wdp in the directory
C:\Program Files\IBM\Websphere MQ Integrator 2.1\Tool\Repository\Private\<Configmgr Machine Name>\<QmgrName>\MessageProcessingNodeType\

OK, steps taken:
Local Config Mgr running.
Control Center running connected to local QM
Run XML node install
- components to install [Broker (8.6MB)]
// no mention of control center components.
Select Broker components and continue (despite no broker installed)
-IBM XML Transformation Node will be installed in the following location:
-C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ Integrator 2.1\
-with the following features:
-Broker ( 8.6MB)
-for a total size:
-12.6MB

// complete install, bounce config mgr and control center

And inevitably no ComIbmXslMqsi,ComIbmXslMqsi.wdp are present.

Has anyone any other thoughts on this?,

Thanks,

Pete

Either post the problem on IBM support site or upgrade to WBI5.0
XML Transformation node is included in the new release.

Sam,

That would be great if you could mail me the files - do I also need any JAR's or GIF's (the gif's would be nice to have but not essential)

Thanks in advance,

Pete

Hi All,
I'm using WBIMB5 and the XMLTransformation node doesn't seem to work properly.

In its properties, I gave Node selection priority as 1 since I have supplied the XSL Directory and file name in the node property itself.

But, nothing happens after the XML passes through the node.
In the System log, i see the following error message:

"( MQBroker.default ) Java plug-in node error: [com.ibm.xsl.mqsi.XMLTransformResources:Error_Transformation_Engine]Error: The following error was received from the transformation engine: Configuration does not exist. Unable to initialize persistent storage.

Error message generated by user Java plug-in node.

Contact the node provider for further details. "

Why doesn't the transformation happen?
Is it necessary to give BLOB input to this node as I did in WMQI2.1?

Or do i need some JAR files?

Hi Agent,
Its Mandatory to supply BLOB to XML Transformation Node.Convert you incoming message as BLOB before sending it Node's input terminal

Hi Pete,

The XML Transformation node installer checks whether the OS is NT or 2000. So, for you to install the CC files, you can select the Program Compatibility Wizard on XP (from Accessories) and make the installer to run as a Win2K installer. Then you will see the Control Center option in the installer. Then select the Message Flows -> Add 2 workspace option and you will see the XML Transform node.

Regards, Chenulu
