A collegue wants to know where the values are documented for various character code set tables, including 500 and (I think he said) 840. He wants to know how values get translated when a different CCSID is used....for example, 500 and 037. Thanks.

The codepages are controlled by the CDRA people, and its hard to find a good reference as to what is where.

For PDF's of a lot of the codepages:
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/globalization/codepages.html

(If you look at the digits under a character, they are what need to match codepage->codepage).
