Hello-
How can we connect to a database using compute node or a database node. To be clear I would like to know if we need any support pacs to configure the connection between MQSI and the database. Thanks in advance.
Maha,
You don't need any support pacs to connect to a database. Details of how to connect depend on where your broker sits (UNIX, HP, NT....) and also whether the database is local or not.
You'll need to give more details for anyone to give more advice. Apart from that, read the manuals - they're actually not bad and have a browse through this forum looking for words like database and connectivity.
Chapter 9 of the ESQL manual could be a good place to start.

Hi,
To connect to a database, u need to establish an ODBC connection with the database and use that ODBC connection in compute node or db node to operate on db.
