I installed the MqSeries v5.1 and set up the Q and Channels are all look great. The I had to reboot the Server and when it cam back up, I tried to open the MMC for MqSeries and its pops up this error...
"The IBM MqSeries Explorer snap-in failed to initialized properly (AMQ4018)"
So I check the event viewer and this is the error...
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MQSeries
Event Category: None
Event ID: 6177
Description:
An internal MQSeries error has occurred.
An error has been detected, and the MQSeries error recording routine has been called.
Details of the error have been stored at F:\Program Files\MQSeries\errors\AMQ01628.0.FDC. A synopsis is given in the data section below. Use the standard facilities supplied with your system to record the problem identifier, and to save the generated output files. Contact your IBM support center. Do not discard these files until the problem has been resolved.
I had to re-install Mq but its still the same..

Check the following:
The file AMQMSRVN.EXE exists under c:\mqm\bin
MUSR_MQADMIN has read authority to c:\mqm and below.
MUSR_MQADMIN has read authority to c:\winnt40\system32.
If the above are all ture, try the following in the mqm\bin directory:
amqmsrvn -regserver
regsvr32 amqmspsn
regsvr32 amqmsvcn
Please note that the snap-in is not working, but the queue manager should work correctly if started from the command line via strmqm
