Hi,
While configuring MQWF im confronted with the following error.

FMC3314E The bind process completed with the following SQL error : SQL0808N The CONNECT statement semantics are not consistent with those of other existing connections .

Let me give you the sequence when it actually happened :

1.)Successfully installed DB2
2.)Successfully installed MQWF version 3.3
3.)Error occured while configuring using MQSeries Workflow Configuration utility

Platform : Windows XP

That means if you have posted a question in one of the forums on this site and if the moderator feels you will get a much better response in one of the other forums, then the moderator moves your post to the appropriate forum.

Explanation: The CONNECT statement originates from a source file which was precompiled having different connection options (SQLRULES, CONNECT type, SYNCPOINT, or RELEASE type) than that of a source file for which a connection exists.

User Response: Ensure that all source files are precompiled using the same CONNECT options, or if this is not possible, call the SET CLIENT api to set the desired options for the application process before issuing the first CONNECT statement.
