Hi ,
We are conducting a stress test for MQ , we have configured a single sender - receiver channel with COA enabled for all the messages . The message that we are putting is of 500 KB each in size .
We had put a total of around 1000 msgs , Beleive me i never new that IBM would take 7 hrs to deliver the message across and get acknowledgment back.
Could somebody help me in fine tuning , so that the message processing happens fast .
thanx in advance |

Can you give more details?
1000 x 500Kb = 500 MB!
7hr = 7 x 3600 secs = 25200 secs
500MB / 25200 = 19.8KB/sec
what kind of network is between the machines for starters...?
are these messages persistent?
are they sent in one go?
etc...

Did you perhaps specify: MQRO_COA_WITH_FULL_DATA?

Reading your other posts... there is probably nothing wrong with MQ nor your network, the channel in-doubt caused the delay of 7 hours?
MQ assures delivery, not WHEN!
