IKeyMan is coming as part of server/client installation of MQ V5.3 on UNIX platforms. I know that IKeyMan is also available for Windows platforms as part of WebSphere application server installation. I am trying to develop a common technology to handle certificates for my corporation and I am wondering if anybody used IKeyMan on Windows to handle certificates for MQ. Do you know a place where I can download IkeyMan for Windows?

I may be wrong but I thought it had to be included with a product rather than a seperate downloadable. |

Yes, you are right. It is included with MQ V5.3 for UNIX and included with application servers for Windows, for example. And it is not included with MQ V5.3 for Windows. So I do not have it for Windows and I am looking to get it for Windows. And this is why I posted this message.

I thought we could create certificate on UNIX and use it on windows.
You can get the certificate from the site mentioned in the SSL tutorial in the software repository on this site.

You kind of misread my posting. Obviously you can use the certificate on any supported platform. I am trying to standardize certificate handling for a big corporations, hundreds MQ installations, thousands certificates for queue managers and clients. I would like to use the same tool (IKeyMan, for example) in every environment. I was able to use it on Solaris, HP-UX and JAVA. I am trying to use it on Windows. |

Sorry, you misunderstood my post - I understand what you meant.
The problem is as I understand it, that the *licensing* of GSKit means it cant be a seperate download, it has to be included with a product - Thats why you can get it with various application servers, ?db2? etc but not from a website, hence I didnt think this can be answered etc.
Someone can happily prove me wrong though... |

That's correct. Can only get it packaged with another product such as Tivoli Access Manager. |
