Also, I know on MQ for Windows you run MQRC from the CMD line. Not sure if that works for Unix & other distributed systems. |

The MQRC works on Linux.

Supportpac MA0K works on all distributed platform, including MQ Everyplace. And it is an easier search than going through the Messages and Codes manual, thougg there are basically the same.
MQRC does not give full description and corrective action. Though MQRC is run against the cmqc.h so it is always current. MA0K run against the Messages and Codes manual, so the MQRC program gets updated along with new release of WMQ, while MA0K would require a republish at the Supportpac site.
Or if you want it updated fast, you can rewrite the source code, and read off the latest Messages and Codes manual. |
