I was going to try to code a very basic java application that would do a connect, open, get, display the get contents and close. Any simple coding examples would be appreciated.
I would like to code this on windows. I have the MQclient installed and the java SDK. Is there anything else required for a java development environment?
All help is appreciated,
Sebastian

There are a bunch of sample java programs here on this site (see the repository). There are also some on the PartnerWorld site:

As far as what you'll need, you didn't mention that you have a Qmgr, but I'm guessing that you do. I'd also suggest that you try to get the amqsputC sample to work. It is already compiled and ready to go. It can help verify your environment.
set MQSERVER=SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN/tcp/qmgr-hostname
amqsputc SYSTEM.DEFAULT.LOCAL.QUEUE qmgr
Good luck! |
