Hi
Has anybody running MQSeries on NT experienced long lock wait problems ? For some obscure reason we are losing connectivity to the Queue Manager even though the MQ service is running fine.
The problem is resolved by stopping and starting the MQ Service. This, however, treats the symptom and not the root cause of the problem.
Any views or comments please. |

Can I assume that you are seeing this in an FDC file? If so, please post the top of it here. I'd like to see the probe id. |

Do you also get long lock release - long lock wait is issued when we have waited an unusally long amount of time, and long lock release is then issued if we ever release that lock. Under some scenarios these can be normal, but if you only ever see long lock wait, then thats normally an indication of a problem. As was said above, post the probe but also the stack (first part of the fdc after the header section). |
