In the context of a reporting project we are confronted with the restrictive FDL-syntax-rules that says:
Quote: |
It does not contain one of the following keywords, such as: AND, IS, LOWER, MOD, NOT, NULL, OR, SUBSTR, UPPER, VALUE, or the special
name _BLOCK and _STRUCT. |
(Starting with Buildtime, chapter FDL definitions)
Question 1: Are member names like
BOCA_VISUM_BRIDGE,
BOCA_BB_ISP_CODE,
BOCA_APV_ERRORCODE,
BOCA_CEBBCSORDERID,
BOC_APVBROADBANDSERVICE
really illegal?
Question 2: would it help, when we change to mixed capital/lowercase (e.g. CamelCase) notation?
The problem is, that we have used such kind of names in our first workflow projects and so far we didn't run into any problems. But now we are also working with external FDL-parser, which handle this point very (too??) strictly. _________________ Greetings from Switzerland!

Q1 : I dont see why those names should be illegal.
I have used both styles 1 & 2 and never had a problem. _________________ -Ratan |
