All brokers in question are 2.1 CSD2 or CSD5, running on Windows 2000.
In my DEV environment, the messages in the CATCH queues have UserIDs that are the same as the originating message.
In my QA and PROD environments, the same message flows have messages in their CATCH queues with the UserID of "mqadmin".
Does anyone know how the UserID field is set when WMQI puts a message to a CATCH queue?
The Alt User Autoruty box is not checked, and PASS ALL is the value for Message Context on the output node for the Catch queues. _________________ Peter Potkay

Do all these environment have same broker service user-id? Perhaps "mqadmin" is service user-id on QA and PROD?
What do u see in Put Application column for the messages on catch queue? _________________ Kiran

Kirani,
The broker service User ID is mqadmin in all environments.
Unfortunatly, the messages have been reprocessed and I can't check the Put Application. I will next time I see the problem. I assume your point here is that you suspect an application other than MQSI put them there? _________________ Peter Potkay

Peter,
Is the MCA user on the channels set to 'mqadmin' in QA and PROD? _________________ Jan Fluitsma

No. None of the channels have that ID.
Some of the channels do have a specific UserID, which does show up in the CATCH queues, but only in DEV. The same channels in QA and PROD have those same IDs, but it is not moved into the CATCH queues in QA/PROD. _________________ Peter Potkay
