Hi,
Can we cluster MQSeries of diffrent versions and diffrent CSD into same cluster.
One can Cluster the MQ Series of Same version into single cluster
but I donot know if we can Cluster diffrent MQ versions as shown below.
1) MQSeries 5.2.1 (CSD5) with MQSeries 5.3(CSD5)
2) MQSeries 5.2.1 (CSD7) with MQSeries 5.3(CSD5)
3) MQSeries 5.2.1 with MQSeries 5.3.
4) MQSeries 5.3 with MQSeries 5.3(CSD5)
Can any one let me know which points can be clustered.
Regards,
Abiram

Yes. To the best of my knowledge, you can cluster MQ queue managers from different releases into the same logical MQ cluster. |

One thing, however, to be very careful of when mixing 5.2 and 5.3 releases in the same cluster is SSL.
If you have your cluster repositories running on 5.2, and any object on any of your 5.3 queue managers is set up to use SSL, you will corrupt your cluster repository.
So, basically, either never use SSL when mixing 5.2 and 5.3 in the same cluster, or make sure that your repositories are on 5.3. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
