Using Integrator, Workflow XML messages are sent to MQ Workflow to create work items for virtual users. The "virtual user" is a 4-digit office number. However, in rare situations, the XML message may contain office numbers that do not exist in Workflow. If Workflow can't assign the workitem to an existing virtual user, then does it default to the adminstrator's worklist?

It will go in Process Administrator's worklist.

Just to expand a little on this, you must remember that every process has a Process Administrator, whether you name one or not. If you do not name a PA, then the Process Starter is the Process Administrator. In the interest of always having the same PA for all instances of a given model it is a good idea to always assign a Process Administrator.

In the rare case where the Process Administrator is no longer in the database the workitem would end up on the System Administrators Worklist.
