All,
I dowloaded the tool and installed the product on my workstation.
However, it does not execute. I don't see any error messages, just the pop-up box and nothing else. Does this product work with MQSeries 5.2.1?

It does work fine. Lisa, what version of JRE or JDK have you installed in your workstation ? It works only with 1.4.1 or later.

You are correct. I have Java 1.3.1 installed on my workstation.
Thanks,

Hi,
When i connect with a queuemanager defined on a Solaris Server i get the Reason Code: 2033.
But in my cmd.exe i got the following result
Connecting REM-HOST(1423) thru channel QM1
Connecting REM-HOST(1423) thru channel SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN
Connecting REM-HOST(1423) thru channel SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN
Queue manager QM1 connected successfully!
Could somebody tell what i'm doing wrong??
Thanks!! |

What happens next once it displays the error ?
Just check two things...
Command Server is running on Solaris box. That you can verify by MQSeries control command DSPMQCSV from command prompt and start it if not, by STRMQCSV command.
Second, by using any other tool like MQSeries Explorer, find out if any queue object is corrupted by looking a blank value in Queue Type field.
