Hi,
I have read and heard that v5 of WMQI has full support for http. Is there anything for WMQI v2.1 to support this? A support pac? Someone mentioned on here about writing a java plug-in node to do this. Is that the recommendation if you aren't able to go to v5? Thanks for any input.

Karen,
Is is a compatability issue that is preventing your upgrade? Make sure to look in the 5.0 migration doc to see if there is a migration path that would work for you. I think some mixing of environments 2.1 vs 5.0) is tolerated. I'd look at this first as there is much work in trying to write that yourself. _________________ Thanks!!!

Hi Paul,
I have no control over when we go to V 5. We may possibly be going by second quarter of next year. I just wanted to make sure I had all the facts straight and that there wasn't a support pac or some other utility for WMQI 2.1 that would give me that functionality. I agree with you. I prefer not to write my own, especially when it will be available in the next version. Thanks for your input.

There is a support pack for 2.1 for HTTP support, I believe it is IA81. It is focused on web services and provides a plugin node to do the work. It is currently unsuported (I think). _________________ MGK
