I was reading csqzav01.pdf and I encounter the topic: "Configuring your queue manager to accept client connections." This topic suggest to run strmqm command to start the queue manager and to test whether my CSD005 install was successful.

Should I run this on my client workstation and also the MQ server that I am using?

Thanks!

strmqm launches a qmgr so doesnt exist on client side. The idea is you start a qmgr and then test a connection to it.

I wish it had said "amqmdain start <qmgrname>" though as it will start all the associated services (listeners etc)
