When one of our developers tries to access the NNSY Rules GUI, she is getting the error message..
[-2622] Invalid rules management object passed in.
When she clicks on OK, the gui opens but none of the rules are accessible.
OK fine..
The IBM website suggests the following thing for this problem..
Solution
The wrong IP address was being used in the ODBC connection. Recatalog the
database to use the correct IP address and make sure the Qualifier field in
the Rules GUI login screen is filled in with the SQLID under which the tables
were created.
I've uncataloged and recataloged the database, but still no luck. Nowhere in the recatalog command does it give you the option to specify the IP address (that I'm aware of).
Can anyone please clarify what I'm supposed to do?
N.B. Her workstation is running NT and the rules database she is trying to connect to is on AIX.
-Thanks very much.

We tend to get this error if the user or password is wrong. Also, try closing any running GUI's (Rules or Formatter). |

Thanks, but I tried that. There's something definitely wrong. I've even tried unistalling and reinstalling all the NNSY stuff but it hasn't helped. _________________ -Mike. |

Addendum:
A complete reinstall of DB2 and re-catalog of the databases and nodes fixed the problem.
