We are using the Email node (ia07) for WMQI v2 on WMQ v5.3 with the latest CSDs. We are experiencing a problem when using multiple <To>email address</To> tags within our input stream going into the email node for our message flows. The first email address in the tag works, but the subsequent ones don't. Has anyone used multiple email addresses with this node, and is there any different type of configuration needed in order to allow repeating <To>, <Cc>, <Bcc>, because this is putting a real crunch in our ability to send email to multiple people properly.
Your insight and wisdom is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried concatenating your To addresses into a single To, with each address separated from the others by a comma? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Chris:
If that doesn't work, you could use the PROPOGATE functionality to send each email separately with different values for each in the <TO> field.
Good Luck!

From memory (last time I tried it), that plugin only supports a single email address for each of <To>, <Cc>, and <Bcc>. Check the code to confirm.
Is there a way you can set up a mailing list at the mail server, so when its gets an email addressed to that list, the server sends multiple emails.
Or, depending on your email client, an automated rule that sends out emails when it receives one.

Sorry to contradict but the latest Sendmail node documentation states that To, Cc, and Bcc fields are all 'optional repeated'. We certainly use it with multiple Cc and Bcc fields - I don't think we use multiple To fields.
Are you getting any errors other than the email not turning up? Can you confirm the message structure before the Sendmail node with a trace node?
Cheers,
Vicky |

I did say it was from the last time I used it.
Pulling the latest version, you are absolutely correct.
