Well what platform ??? I have exp. with HPUX, the only issues we had were solved when MQ v5.2 came out and stopped using the mmap to map logs into shared memory.
We had one transaction that would be run 1.25 1.5 million per day.
We also shipped around a 750K of Persistent messages (80k average size, 4mb max) _________________ Jeff

Thanks for the reply.
The platform is going to be Sun Solaris fort eh bulk of the hardware.
Would you have any stats on how long just the messaging part of the 1.25-1.5 million transcations took. Was it on on emachine or did you have a cluster.
Thanks a ton. |

Have you looked at the Performance Support Pack for v5.3 on Solaris? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Our 1.25 million transactions were on HPUX to Mainframe and Back to HPUX most were less than 200 milliseconds, 90% were less than 1 second and the one's that were longer were waiting on mainframe application to do product lookup _________________ Jeff
