Hi,
i try to make a full deploy on my WMQSI Broker and I allways get the BIP1528 Error. We are using two execution groups and about 50 Messagesets in the broker. A delta Deploy with 8 Messagesets get through successfully, so at the moment I add Messageset by Messageset and make a Delta Deploy
We are running WMOSI 2.1 with CSD 04 on WIN/2000 maschine
I increased the MaxJavaHeapSize for the ConfigManager to 4 MB and the Number of Log Datasets on the QueueManger to its maximun (60 primary Logs / 40 secondary Logs)
Can anybody tell me, what to do to get a full deploy through?

Thanks for your help....

Try increasing the heap size in DB2.

Or monitoring the memory usage of your configmgr bipservice process to see if it's really running out of JVM memory.

You may need to also increase the JVM size of your BROKER processes as well as your ConfigMgr process.

Thanks for the tips.

I increased the heap size in the DB2 Configmanager DB with no effects and than I looked throughh my machine and figured out, that I increased the log datasets for the QMgr via the MQSeries Explorer (even in the repository they have the currect size), but the QMGR itsself didn't create more log datasets while he was restartet.

I deleted the queuemanager and recreate it with the max LogDatasets, recrate the Broker and all the queues, make I full deploy and it works fine. My full deploy went through.

Now I have to figure out, how to increase Log Datasets for the QMGR without deleteng the whole think and recreate it. Because in our production environment, I can start from scratch

IBM recommends that you do smaller delta deploys rather than doing a full complete deploy of the broker. If you have more than 1 EG then broker has an overhead of making duplicate copies of your message set RTD and assigning it to each EG.

We are also getting BIP1528 in our environment when doing a complete deploy of the broker. Our Configuration manager's JVM heap size is set to 2GB (that's the maximum size you can set)!
