Just wondering if one can use WBI suite( Holosofx) to build process models and use software other than MQWorkflow to implement it ( I am not even aware of other alternatives to MQWF |

As of now, I dont think there is software other than MQWF to run process models (in FDL format).
Of course, there are lot of other Workflow products.
But for the process models built in Holosofx, MQ Workflow is the only runtime engine.
Anybody correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks

I remember Jmac telling HOLOSOFX was initially built to support multiple Workflow engines, but now as it is an IBM product it will only support MQWF. _________________ -Ratan |

My guess is that Workflow will start using BPEL instead of FDL. This standarized format will most likely be widely adapted by other vendors who have BPM tools such as Workflow. So who knows what the future holds. If that is the case then yes, the modeler could be used to create BEPL for import into other tools.
Just a guess. _________________ Dave Krier

But a real good guess Dave... I would be surprised if this was not the case. _________________ John McDonald
