Its on workflow webclient 'creat list settings" option.
I would like to know what are the various options one can give on the FILTER test box.
if I am creating a instancelist I know I could give something like
"DESCRIPTION like '*03300*'. this would bring me all the instances whose description contain "03300".

What are the other options I can give in this filter field?
Where do I find any documentation on this particular section?
The help ICON does not give much information except giving outline.

SOME EXAMPLES WE USE

NAME = 'XXXXX' AND TYPE NOT IN ( FIRST_NOTIFICATION , SECOND_NOTIFICATION , PROCESS_NOTIFICATION ) AND CREATION_TIME > '2003-10-23 09:00:00'

( PROCESS_CATEGORY = 'XXXX' OR ( PROCESS_CATEGORY = 'XXXX' AND DESCRIPTION LIKE 'XXXX' ) ) AND ( OWNER = 'XXXX' OR OWNER = CURRENT_USER )

Try different scenarios in native(thick) client and copy them to web client

Complete syntax for filters and sorts is available in the Programming Guide

In Thick client

1)Create New Process Instance list
2)Click on the filter tab
3) click on the add button

you can try couple of different scenarios with the drop down menus under name and operators fields
and copy the query back to webclient filter field.
