To be withdrawn on November 30, 2003: With the availability of the IBM Certified Solution Designer- WebSphere Workflow V3.4 certification role and its applicable test, which is Test 292, IBM WebSphere MQ Workflow V3.4 Solution Design, the following certification role and test will be withdrawn/retired:

IBM Certified Solutions Expert - MQSeries Workflow
Test 092, MQSeries Workflow System Planning and Modeling

What does IBM means by withdrawing test 092? It simply means that this will not be available after 30th November?

Andy:

I believe that it simply means that if you want an MQWF Certification you now take Test292 and Test092 will no longer be offered. At this point I would say if you are going to take an MQWF Certification test, you should take Test292.

I just noticed on the IBM site, they reduced the passing score on the preassessment test to 56% from 57%. Wonder why they did it?

Did they get it down to 30% ???

The assesment test was very good compared to 092. What do you think?

Were you on the team who developed the test, this time too?

I failed the test 3 times.
Now that they reduced the passing score, I will try one more time.

They are still giving vouchers. I passed in second time. The questions are same. And they say you can try as many times as you want.

So copy questions while taking test first time. Think answer and take the test again.

IBM wants many people to pass it. Dont think 25 is limit but should be more than that. Perhaps they changed like they did for passing score but forgot to announce.

I took the pre-test last week and got my voucher via email the next day. The funny thing is that the pre-test passing score was 57%, but on the real test it takes a 62% to pass. I passed the real test just this week.

You should know a little bit about all the support packs they offer, such as the Webservices, and LDAP ones. I would reat the "Best Practices" guide a few times. There were several questions pulled directly from the guide. I would also read up on notifications and staff assignment. You also want to have a general knowedge about WBI Workbench monitor and modler.

To add to what Dave has listed.... I would definitely read up on Authentication Exits too.
