Hi All

Can anyone help.

I have a VB client application that picks up message setc from a NT MQ Server.

If we set up MQ on an AIX server and set up a MQ manager on it will I be able to read and put from NT. I presume that i just amend the environment MQSERVER variable to point at the unix box.

Actually, you should only need to redirect the connection information to point to the AIX machine and port.

You just need to setup a server connection channel so your client can connect to the AIX in client mode. Don't forget to setup the MQSERVER variable
set MQSERVER=<srv chnl conn>/TCP/<host(port)>
