Hello,
After a search I did in the forums, I could not reach a conclusion is it possible/supported/good idea to change a hostname of the windows server that has MQ running on it.
In docs I also didn't find anything useful.
Can you please advice?
thank you in advance. |

Can you confirm that your question is about the DNS Hostname of the server? Remember you can change the IP address without changing the DNS Hostname.
Or are you referring to the machine name rather than the DNS hostname?
Cheers,

Hi all,
OS: LINUX SLES15
Since using AWS Instances, the hostname is based on the IP. So, if I change the hostname "hostnamectl set-hostname CustomHostname" the MQ is not available...
How can I make it work with a new hostname?
Thank you |
