Good Day, First a disclaimer. I am really new to MQ Series on the NT platform, and I have been asked to download MA7P to a server that contains both a queue manager and a MQ client. During the install process I receive message "Failed to register amqmdnet.dll, manual registration must be performed with gacutil.exe". I do not receive this message when I load down to a regularly installed MQ Client. I do have .Net Framework 1.1 installed.
Can anyone be of assistance. I have provided feedback to IBM on this issue, but have yet to receive a response.

For those of you whom may encounter this problem, I did finally receive a response from IBM (uk).
As a result of the install, it appears as though the MA7P could not locate gacutil.exe.
Check to see whether the amqmdnet.dll is registered. Command
gacutil /l amqmdnet
gacutil is distributed with .Net Framework SDK
If not registered in Global Assembly Cache, register it with
gacutil /i <mqmtop>\bin\amqmdnet.dll
where <mqmtop> is the top level WebShere MQ directory.  |
