IBM like to claim mainframes are the most secure platform.
Why then does MQ on z/OS not support OCSP?
I don't know if using CRLs is a realistic alternative - what do people generally do?
Most of our certificates are issued by our own CA. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error.

I suspect it was because at the time of being introduced on Distributed MQ, System SSL (the z/OS implementation of GSKit) did not support OCSP. It would appear that they do now.
